This model has the standard 1906/29 features such as a new type toggle with flat, uncheckered toggle knobs; grip safety, wide trigger, narrow trigger guard and a straight grip front strap, no stock lug and barrel chambered in 7.65mm Luger.
Scarce original Swiss red checkered plastic grips with left grip slotted for grip safety. Original thin plated magazine with black plastic base + thin plated spare magazine with red plastic base. Original leather holster. Missing take down lever springs.
This 1929 Swiss Military was manufactured by Waffenfabrik Bern for the Swiss Army and part of the second 1934 production. 27,940 manufactured starting with serial number 50,001 to 77,941. The top of the chamber is unmarked and the rear toggle has the "Swiss Cross in a Shield" marking. The barrel is correctly numbered on the left side of the shoulder and has a small Swiss proof that consists of a single small cross over the letter "M" control proof of Colonel Muhlemann on the underside, with the full serial numbered on the right side of the proof mark and again on top of the rear toggle. Trigger guard has a "P" stamp.
