W+F Bern Swiss 06/24 Luger w/ Holster - sn 25xx1
Swiss 1906/24 Luger, produced in 1925, in very good condition with 80% original finish. 5/5 Bore. Good to very good straw finish remaining.
The frame and all its components matches serial numbers (25061). The receiver and barrel assembly and all its components have matching serial numbers (30291). The receiver and barrel serial number indicates a Luger 1906/24 manufactured in 1930.
The right side of the frame has mild finish wear at the forward edge, with light edge wear continuing along the upper edge to the rear. Mild to fair edge wear on the trigger guard. Very light to light edge wear on the bottom of the grip. On the left side of the frame, there is mild finish wear and light edge wear at the forward edge. Light edge wear on the upper edge of the frame. Expected mark on the frame from safety selector usage. Mild to fair edge wear on the trigger guard. Very light to light edge wear on the bottom of the grip. Side plate has mild edge wear around the high area and light edge wear around the outer edge. Mild to moderate finish wear on the bottom of the front strap.
Receiver has fair to moderate finish wear overall, with only the chamber having solid finish. Mild edge wear on the upper edge on both sides. On the right side of the receiver there is heavy finish wear at the forward edge and moderate to heavy finish wear to the right of the ejector. On the left side of the receiver, there is heavy finish wear from contact with the side plate.
Barrel has light finish wear, with an area of heavier finish wear on the left side near the muzzle, and light edge wear around the muzzle.
Walnut grips have fair checkering with some areas of dulled or flattened checkering. No damage is noted.
Walnut base on the magazine exhibits moderate to heavy handling wear.
Leather strap attached to the lanyard loop.
Frame is P stamped in front of the trigger guard.
Includes military leather holster. Holster has a spare magazine pouch attached to the top of the flap. The leathermaker's stamp is worn and hard to read, but appears to show that the holster was made in 1918.
