W+F Bern Swiss 06/24 Luger - sn 290xx
Swiss 1906/24 Luger, produced in 1929, in very good condition with 90% original finish. 4/5 Bore. All visible serial numbers matching. Grips matching serial numbers. Bright bore with lightly worn rifling. Good straw finish remaining. Left side of the frame has edge wear at the forward edge, some light scratches in the finish on the area above the left grip, and a couple of marks near the safety selector. Right side of the frame has moderate finish wear at the forward edge and light edge wear along the top of the frame. Light edge wear on the trigger guard and a spot of finish wear at the bottom of the front strap. Trigger plate has finish wear at the high area and on the top edge, and light edge wear on the bottom edge. Receiver has light finish wear from handling in front of the toggle knobs, and there is discoloration at the top of the right side of the receiver, next to the toggle link. Both toggle knobs have light bluing wear on the checkering. Bluing is worn on the left grip screw. Walnut grips are in good condition; left side grip has good checkering, right side grip has dulled checkering. Magazine has matching walnut base. Receiver has a double struck P stamp to the left of the trigger plate. Stamped to the left of the P stamp is Colonel Muhlemann's inspection mark and a BernerProbe proof stamp.
