Product Description
Vintage Swiss Army telephone, model 1947 (Armeetelefon Modell 1947), one of 4,195 pieces manufactured by Albiswerk AG (who would later become Siemens) from 1947 to 1951. The ATf 47 was in use from the late 1947s up until 1998.
The field telephone is housed within an integrated wooden case. The wooden case has many handling marks throughout, as well as a few chips around the edges. The lid of the case is stamped with "MODELL 1947" over "APP. Nr. 17760". Inside the lid is affixed a metal plate displaying the phone's wiring schematic to aid in maintenance and repairs. Included with the radio is a wired transmit/receive handset and a receive-only headset.
Untested and unable to check for function.
