Swiss 1881 sawback bayonet, made by SIG Neuhausen. Includes leather scabbard.
Blade has grind marks throughout from previous sharpening. Light patina throughout the blade. Light surface marks around the socket. Heavy pitting on the pommel.
Scabbard has mild cracking throughout. Heavy patina and mild pitting on the mouthpiece and ferrule.
Issued with Vetterli model 1881. There are only minor differences between the 1881 sawback and the 1878 sawback; the crossbar measures 7mm thick instead of 6mm.
