Product Description
Tanner Sportwaffen 300m Match sporting rifle in very good condition with 95% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Single shot turn-bolt action. Stock has a few scattered gouges and small heavy pressure marks but is otherwise clean. The stock has been customized by the previous owner to better fit him. The stock's adjustable cheek riser has been fixed to the stock with a wood screw. The underside of the stock at the toe has been sanded down and part of a screw is exposed. The receiver has very dark bluing. There are a few light scratches and light bluing wear around the top post, which is the rear attachment point for a barrel cover (mirage band). Barrel is non-blued; there are a few cosmetic surface scratches on the barrel.
Rifle features a set trigger system; with a round chambered and the bolt closed, the trigger below the trigger guard is pressed first to "set" the trigger. The main trigger then only requires a very light touch to fire.
Factory Tanner diopter sight system installed. Both the front and rear mounts feature adjustable irises.
UIT (Anschutz) rail system includes two accessories: a round forward grip and a single point leather stabilizing sling.
The right side of the stock has two stickers attached. On the forearm is a Tanner Sportwaffen decal. Near the butt of the stock is a red sticker with Illnau coat of arms reading "SCHÜTZENGESELLSCHAFT ILLNAU" which was a shooting club in Illnau, Switzerland.
The left side of the stock has three competition stickers, with what looks like two voids where competition stickers used to be attached, as well as a sticker at the butt with the original owner's information.
Competition stickers:
"22. Eidgenössisches / Schützenfest / für Veteranen, Zürich" which was the 22nd Veterans shooting festival held in Zurich. This sticker is placed on top of another competition sticker.
"TIR FEDERAL / 2000 BIERE" which was from a federal shooting festival held roughly every five years; this one was held in Biere, Vaud, Switzerland in 2000.
"Eidg. Schützenfest / Frauenfeld 05 / 20. Juni bis 16. Juli" which was a shooting festival held in Frauenfeld, Thurgau, Switzerland.
