Swiss K31/42 sniper carbine, produced in 1942, is in very good condition with 90% original finish. 5/5 Bore, 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Handguard has tiger striping pattern. Furniture has many very heavy handling marks, mostly located on the stock. The handguard has a couple of gouges but mainly has light pressure marks, with a large concentration of light pressure marks on the top side around the rear barrel band. The stock has quite a few gouges and heavy pressure marks found on the left side of the stock, running from the finger groove area to the base of the grip. There is also a long running scratch from the base of the grip to the rear sling mount, below the comb of the stock on the left side. The right side of the stock has pressure marks all over the side from the comb to the toe, and there are also a series of gouges running from the pistol grip up to the charging handle. Numerous small gouges and pressure marks are found on the underside of the stock.
Receiver finish is dark. The integrated KERN 1.8x optic on the left side of the receiver has some finish wear at the periscope end and some edge wear on the top side. Rear barrel band bluing is dark with light finish wear on the underside at the mounting screw. Front barrel band also has dark bluing, with light finish wear on the right side at the mounting screw and on the left side at the hinge. Trigger plate has dark bluing with some light finish wear near the rear screw. Trigger guard has light edge wear. Magazine finish is dark with minor finish wear.
