SWISS ARMY SIG P49 DESCRIPTION
Swiss Army SIG P49 matches the serial number listed in the officer's service book as issued in 1952. Part of the first series, second delivery to the Swiss Army, it is in very good condition with 90% original finish. 5/5 Bore. Bluing is polished, as standard with the first series of P49.
On the right side of the frame, there is light edge wear along the edges of the high area and the dust cover. Light scratches in the finish along the side of the frame. Light edge wear on the trigger guard and a spot of light edge wear on the beavertail. Light edge wear at the bottom edge of the frame. On the left side of the frame there is light edge wear around the high area and on the dust cover. Light finish wear to the left of the serial number. Small, light scratches found on the high area above the slide stop lever and there is a mark at the low area below the slide stop lever. Typical mark on the frame from safety selector usage. Light edge wear on the trigger guard and at the top of the front strap. Light edge wear at the bottom of the frame. Light finish wear on the beavertail.
Slide has light edge wear along the upper edge on the right side, and on the left side mild edge wear at the muzzle, fading to light edge wear toward the rear. Light finish wear around the muzzle. Light to mild holster wear on the sights.
Wood grips are in very good to excellent condition. The left side grip has a pair of round pressure marks on the upper right.
The magazine cut-off has been modified by giving it a slight upward bend. This will allow the hammer to be dropped without a magazine inserted. Original function can be restored by bending the magazine cut-off back into its original position.
Includes original issued leather holster.
Soldier's tag with the P49. The information on the soldier's tag is repeated on the inside of the included holster.

TRUNK DESCRIPTION
Officer's trunk is stamped with serial number 11684, matching the serial number noted in the service book as issued in 1971. Trunk is in very good to excellent condition. The inside of the trunk features a removable upper tray with two compression straps. Includes one warded key.
M1943 DAGGER DESCRIPTION
Model 1943 officer's dagger, manufactured by Elsener Schwyz Victoria, is stamped with serial number 190956, matching the serial number in the service book as issued in 1971. Dagger was stamped with its serial number on 22 JAN 1965. Dagger includes steel sheath and white portepee. Portepee is bright and clean. Blade has some light pitting in the center. Sheath has a few impact marks.
