Product Description
Original issued large-type Swiss Military backpack. These large-type backpacks were typically issued to either medics or radio operators. Backpack has one large main compartment only.
The main compartment has a large outer flap that is secured with two adjustable leather straps on the left and right corners. One adjustable leather strap runs vertically over the main flap. There is a pocket on the backside of the main flap. Inside, two adjustable leather straps secure two flaps over the main compartment.
The inside canvas of the main compartment has a KMV "Privat" stamp indicating that this backpack was released after service for private ownership.
Heavy wear around the edges of the pack. The inner canvas is heavily discolored and has multiple stains. Heavy wear on the bottom edge of the pack under the inside flaps. Extreme wear on the back side bottom edge; the wooden frame is visible at the bottom corners where the backpack has worn through the cowhide and inner canvas.
A wooden soldier's tag is included with the backpack indicating that the original soldier was part of Compagnie Cycliste 23, a Swiss Army bicycle troop.
