Original issued large-type Swiss Military backpack. These large-type backpacks were typically issued to either medics or radio operators. Backpack has one large main compartment only.
The main compartment has a large outer flap that is secured with two adjustable leather straps on the left and right corners. One adjustable leather strap runs vertically over the main flap. There is a pocket on the backside of the main flap. Inside, two adjustable leather straps secure two flaps over the main compartment.
There are a few patches of fur worn away on the front flap. On the canvas of the inner flap is some black resin staining. Cowhide is worn on the rear panel of the backpack where the pack would have rubbed against the soldier's back.
