Martini rimfire target rifle, original manufacturer unknown, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock.
On the right side of the stock, there are various flourishes carved along with checkering on the side of the butt, and leaves carved below the thumb rest. Gouging at the forward edge, next to the receiver. On the left side of the stock, the checkering at the wrist is sharp. Unpopulated threaded hole on the underside of the butt, likely where a sling mount was previously installed.
Forend has excellent checkering. Tiger stripe pattern throughout. 1" crack on the forward edge on the right side. Floral engraving on the underside of the forearm at the forward end.
Barrel had been replaced at some point by way of cutting the barrel off at the chamber and welding the replacement in its place.
Receiver is in the white with various elaborate engravings. The left side of the receiver depicts a chamois and a kid with an eagle in a forest. The right side depicts an elk and two calves in a forest. Various scroll work on the top and bottom sides of the receiver and the operating lever. Operating lever has light patina. Barrel finish is lightly worn and has light patina throughout.
Diopter sights are installed. The front diopter mount has no insert installed.
