Product Description
Swiss Model 1918 bayonet. Elsener Schwyz Victoria manufacturer stamp on the ricasso.
Blade has one large chip on the edge. Light patina throughout the pommel.
No serial number stamped into the crosspiece, either meaning this bayonet was never issued alongside a rifle, or the serialized crosspiece had been replaced. Estimated to have been manufactured after 1950 as "Victoria" is added to the Elsener Schwyz stamp, so this bayonet would have been issued with a K31.
Includes steel scabbard and leather frog. The initials "AG" are scratched into the back of the frog. The sattler stamp is worn; the maker is illegible, but it was made in Lenzburg (Canton Aargau) in 1924.
