Product Description
Swiss Model 1918 bayonet. Elsener Schwyz manufacturer stamp on the ricasso.
There are a few very light marks on the blade edge. Handling wear on the grips. Pommel has mostly light surface marks, but there are heavy surface marks on the bottom side of the pommel.
No serial number stamped into the crosspiece, either meaning this bayonet was never issued alongside a rifle, or the serialized crosspiece had been replaced. Elsener Schwyz manufactured the 1918 bayonet from 1934 to 1949, so it could have been issued with a K31 Carbine, but could also have been issued with a late-issue K11 Carbine.
Includes steel scabbard and leather frog. The sattler's stamp on the frog is faded and illegible, only the year of 1943 can be barely read.
