Swiss model 1914 sawback bayonet produced by Elsener Schwyz. Includes leather scabbard and leather frog.
Blade has light pitting. Crossguard and pommel have light grinding marks.
Leather scabbard has mild gouging. End cap has light to mild surface marks. Leather frog was made by C. Vogt of Bern in 1935.
The 1914 Sawback Bayonet was not a widely issued bayonet, and was only issued to select troops. The serial number indicates that it was issued with a K31 Carbine produced in 1944.
