Product Description
Swiss model 1914 sawback bayonet produced by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Includes scabbard and leather frog.
Blade is in excellent condition. Muzzle ring has light surface marks Right side grip has heavy pressure marks and a heavy gouge. Pommel has light scratches and light surface marks.
Scabbard has lightly worn finish and light patina. Leather frog was made by P. Ambuhl of Thusis (Graubunden) in 1941.
The 1914 Sawback Bayonet was not a widely issued bayonet, and was only issued to select troops. The serial number indicates that it was issued with a K31 Carbine produced in 1941.
