Swiss model 1899 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Includes scabbard and leather frog.
Blade has light pitting near the tip. Guard has a large area where the chrome plating has worn off. Pommel has light surface marks. Heavy surface mark on the base of the pommel.
Scabbard has light pitting. Leather frog was made by J. Gloor of Langenthal (Bern) in 1899.
These bayonets were issued with the 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, 1911 Infantry Rifle, and K11 Carbine. The serial number indicates that this bayonet would have been issued with a 1911 Infantry Rifle produced in 1918.
