Swiss Genietruppen (Engineer) Faschinenmesser 1842/52 short sword. Manufacturer stamp on the blade is illegible. With leather scabbard.
Blade is the early sawback type. Blade has mild pitting throughout. Number on the crossguard is too faint to be legible. S stamped on the crossguard.
Leather scabbard is worn but intact.
