Swiss Cavalry leather scabbard for the K11 and K31 carbine. These were typically later converted to fit the Stgw.57 (SIG SG 550) but this one remains in its original configuration.
Leather scabbard tip protector. Body of the scabbard has heavy wear in the leather around the middle strap and a couple of surface cracks near the lower strap. Body stitching is in good condition. Light cracks on the rear side and two rippled areas, likely caused by storage. Mouth of the scabbard has good stitching with some cracking in the leather.
Made by sattler "F. Beerli" of Mammern, Thurgau, Switzerland in 1918.
