No marks in the frame from either the takedown lever nor decocker. Swiss cross on the top of the slide, in front of the rear sight. Stainless magazines, correct for the Z series, are stamped with "P220" "9mm" on the right side near the base and "SIG SAUER" on the left side near the base. Discreet import engraving.
This P220 is one of a very limited number models issued to Swiss Customs / Border Guard. These models are identified with serial numbers beginning with the letter Z instead of A. The serial numbers for this line ranges from Z1000001 to Z1002500, so up to 2,500 of these were manufactured. Two notable points with these Swiss Customs P220 pistols that set them apart from the Swiss Army models are that they come from factory with tritium night sights installed and they have the addition of a metal guard beneath the left side of the grip that helps prevent accidental activation of the magazine release at the heel. The tritium in the installed night sights no longer illuminates as tritium has a half-life of 12 years.
