SIG P210-4 German Border Police w/ Holster - sn D46xx
Swiss SIG P210-4, produced in 1951 and delivered to the West German Bundesgrenzschutz (Federal Border Guard) in one of several batches after 14 December 1951, in excellent condition with 93% original finish. 5/5 Bore. Frame, slide, and barrel matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the frame, there is light finish wear at the forward edge and light finish wear along the upper edge. There are a few small marks in the finish at the high area. Very light to light edge wear on the trigger guard. On the left side of the frame, there is minor to very light edge wear at the forward edge. A German eagle acceptance stamp is found to the right of the frame's serial number. Very light to light edge wear on the trigger guard. Typical mark on the frame from safety selector usage.
The right side of the slide has minor to light edge wear on the upper edge. The left side of the slide has minor to very light edge wear on the upper edge. Minor holster wear on the rear sight, very light holster wear on the front sight.
Includes black leather police P210 holster with shoulder sling. Holster has a spare magazine pouch on the side. Leathermaker stamp shows that it was made by "Schupbach" in Basel (in Basel-Stadt, Switzerland) in 1978. A paper tag attached to the holster reads that the holster is for a SIG pistol from Basel Police.

The SIG P210-4 was manufactured by SIG Neuhausen specifically for the Bundesgrenschutz. The lanyard loop is omitted from the frame and a loaded chamber indicator was added to the top of the slide. Approximately 5000 total were manufactured for BGS in 1951. In 1995, approximately 500 were manufactured as a special order for Frankonia-Jagd (serial numbers D6001~D6500).
