Swiss made SIG P210-4, manufactured and issued to the West German Federal Border Guard, Bundesgrenzschutz (BGS). Very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. Frame, slide, and barrel matching serial numbers.
This P210-4 was received as a set with a second BGS-issued SIG P210-4. They are sequentially numbered.
Left side of the frame has mild edge wear at the forward edge of the high area and light edge wear on the dust cover. There are also a few small marks in the metal at the high area near the forward edge. Edge wear continues along the upper edge of the frame to the rear. Multiple marks in the bluing found along the high area. Light marks in the bluing below the slide stop lever where it has rubbed against the frame. Typical mark on the frame from safety selector usage. Bluing wear on the safety selector lever's top serration. Minor edge wear on the bottom corner of the front strap. Very light edge wear at the rear edge of the beaver tail.
Right side of the frame has edge wear at the forward edge of the high area and a light amount of edge wear at the dust cover. Edge wear continues along the upper edge of the frame to the rear. There is an area with multiple light scratches in the bluing at the high area of the frame, to the left of the slide stop lever pin. Minor edge wear on the upper edge and the bottom corner of the front strap. Minor edge wear on the beaver tail.
Trigger guard has light edge wear. Bluing is mildly worn along the dust cover and bottom of the trigger guard. There are a few small marks in the metal on the bottom of the trigger guard and a scratch at the base of the trigger guard, above the front strap.
Slide has mild edge wear around the muzzle. Light edge wear along the upper edge of the slide on both sides. Light edge wear around the ejection port. There are a couple of heavy surface marks on the top of the left side serrations.
Black plastic grips exhibit moderate to heavy handling wear. The left side grip has areas of flattened checkering, as well as some gouging to the left of the grip screw. The right side grip has good checkering with a limited amount of worn checkering. There are scratches along the upper bevel.
Includes black police-issued leather holster with integrated spare magazine pouch. Leather is dry and cracked.

The SIG P210-4 was manufactured by SIG Neuhausen specifically for the Bundesgrenschutz. The lanyard loop is omitted from the frame and a loaded chamber indicator was added to the top of the slide. Approximately 5000 total were manufactured for BGS in 1951. In 1995, approximately 500 were manufactured as a special order for Frankonia-Jagd (serial numbers D6001~D6500.
