M1918 Bayonet w/ Scabbard & Frog - sn 787559
Swiss model 1918 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Includes scabbard and leather frog.
Blade is in excellent condition. Right side grip has a heavy pressure mark. Pommel has light surface marks.
Scabbard was painted black. Scratches and surface marks can be seen underneath the paint. The back of the frog is stamped with "AUSSCHUSS".
These bayonets were issued with the K11 and K31 Carbines. The serial number indicates that this bayonet would have been issued with a K31 Carbine produced in 1944.
