M1918 Bayonet w/ Scabbard & Frog - sn 251395
Swiss model 1918 bayonet, manufactured by Elsener Schwyz. Includes scabbard and leather frog.
Blade is in excellent condition. Right side walnut grip has a small gap at the tang. Light surface marks on the pommel.
Scabbard has lightly worn finish and light patina. Leather frog was made by O. Bachmann.
These bayonets were issued with the K11 and K31 Carbines. The serial number indicates that this bayonet would have been issued with a K31 Carbine produced in 1956.
