Model 1918 Swiss bayonet manufactured by Elsener Schwyz Victoria. Elsener Schwyz began adding "Victoria" to their ricasso marking in 1950. Includes steel scabbard and leather frog.
Model 1918 bayonets were issued with the 00/11 Carbine, K11 Carbine, and K31 Carbine. As the serial number 996591 is out of the serial number range for the 00/11 and K11 Carbines, this bayonet would have been issued with K31 serial number 996591 in 1953.
