Swiss model 1914 sawback bayonet, manufactured by Elsener Schwyz. Includes leather scabbard and leather frog.
Blade has light pitting throughout. Handle has been modified to create a finger groove.
Scabbard has light gouging. Heavy pressure mark around the center of the scabbard. Leather frog was made in 1933.
The 1914 Sawback Bayonet was not a widely issued bayonet, and was only issued to select troops. The seral number indicates that it was issued with a K31 Carbine produced in 1944.
