Product Description
Swiss model 1914 sawback bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Includes steel scabbard and leather frog.
Blade has light marks on the edge. Light surface marks throughout the pommel.
Scabbard has heavily worn finish.
Sattler name on the frog is illegible, but it was made in Fribourg in 1952.
The 1914 Sawback Bayonet was not a widely issued bayonet, and was only issued to select troops. The serial number indicates that it was issued with a K31 Carbine issued in 1941.
