Swiss model 1914 sawback bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Includes leather scabbard and leather frog.
Blade is in excellent condition. Both walnut grips have light gouges. Pommel has light pitting.
Leather scabbard has light gouges. Leather frog was made by A. Billiger of Windisch (Aargau) in 1930.
The 1914 Sawback Bayonet was not a widely issued bayonet, and was only issued to select troops. The seral number indicates that it was issued with a 00/11 Carbine that was converted from an 1900 Short Rifle originally produced in 1901.
