Product Description
Swiss model 1906 sawback bayonet, produced by SIG Neuhausen, with leather scabbard and frog.
Blade has light pitting on the left side. Right side grip has light gouging. Pommel has a mild surface mark on the right side and the coating is flaking off.
Scabbard has light gouging. Frog was made by E. Roduner of Thal (St. Gallen) in 1949.
The 1906 Sawback Bayonet was not a widely issued bayonet, and was only issued to select troops. The serial number indicates that it was issued with a K11 Carbine produced in 1914.
