Product Description
Swiss model 1914 sawback bayonet produced by SIG Neuhausen. Includes scabbard and leather frog.
Blade is chipped at the tip and has light pitting throughout. Both grips have mild pressure marks. Left side grip also has light gouging. Pommel has light to mild surface marks.
Scabbard has light gouging on the leather.
Leather frog was made by Fried. Greub of Lotzwil (Bern) in 1895.
The 1914 Sawback Bayonet was not a widely issued bayonet, and was only issued to select troops. The serial number indicates that it was issued with a K11 Carbine produced in 1923.
