Enfield No. 4 MK I, produced in Britain (BSA Shirley) in 1943, in very good condition with 80% finish. 3/5 Bore (Lightly worn rifling and mild pitting throughout). 4/5 Stock. Matching bolt. Magazine is unserialized.
On the right side of the stock, there are mild pressure marks at the forward end of the butt, rear of the wrist. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges above the trigger guard and light to mild gouging by the rear barrel band. Light gouge on the comb. Right side of the handguard has light gouging at the rear. Top side of the handguard has a heavy gouge behind the rear barrel band and light gouging before both barrel bands.
Receiver has mild edge wear throughout. Heavy pitting on the left side of the ejection port. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has mildly worn finish and scratches throughout. Trigger guard has light edge wear and light pitting. Magazine finish is heavily worn.
Includes canvas sling. Includes cruciform bayonet, model No. 4 Mk II. No manufacturer stamp noted.
