DWM Argentine Contract 1909 Mauser Cavalry Carbine - sn C0xxx
This is a DWM 1909 Argentine-contract Mauser, also known as a Mauser 1909 Modelo Argentino. It is in very good condition with 85% original finish. 3/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock matching serial number. Handguard non-matching serial number. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Bore is bright but rifling is worn and there is light pitting throughout. Receiver and front barrel band are in the white. Rear barrel band and barrel are blued; very dark finish. Furniture has quite a bit of handling wear, including pressure marks and small gouges. The toe of the stock has been repaired. There is some sort of putty or residue found on the left side of the stock below the receiver. Argentina's coat of arms is stamped on the top of the receiver. Left side of the receiver is stamped with "MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1909" and "DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN BERLIN". Argentina's coat of arms is also stamped on the right side of the stock at the cheek piece. C&R Eligible. Import engraved.
