British East India Company model 1843 Cavalry flintlock percussion pistol in good condition. 3/5 Bore (nice shape for its age; spot of mild pitting in the center of the bore). 3/5 Stock.
Stock has numerous heavy pressure marks and heavy gouges.
On the left side there is a stamp of a lion holding a crown, and the text "Larnett S.N.I". On the underside of the grip is stamped a K over 12. JP is stamped on the ramrod retention spring.
Light to mild patina on the side plate and hammer. Barrel has heavy patina throughout.
Lion holding a crown on the side plate. Barrel is stamped on the left side with APX-1245-EX-73. On the top side of the barrel there is a crown over CP and a K over crown.
