Product Description
Astra 600/43, manufactured by the Spanish manufacturer Astra Unceta y Cia, delivered in the 1950s to the Chilean Air Force. This is a rare model as only 450 pieces were ordered and delivered to the Chilean Air Force. 90% original finish. 5/5 Bore. Serial numbers are matching.
Overall finish is very dark and solid. There are a few small, light surface marks found on the rear of the slide and frame. Light edge wear at the forward edge of the frame and on the edges of the slide and the slide serrations. Light edge wear on the front and rear sights. Minor to very light edge wear on the knurling at the muzzle.
On the left side of the frame, there are three proof stamps. From left to right, these translate to:
- Received at Eibar proof house (stamp used after 09 JUL 1931
- Proofed in 1945
- Passed proof test
The left side of the slide at the rear also has a stamp indicating that it passed proof testing.
The manufacturer, model, caliber, and the logo of the Chilean Air Force logo on the slide have been filled in white.
Wood grips have good to very good checkering.
Magazine has a pre-1926 stamp.
