Japanese Arisaka Type 38 in good condition with 85% finish. 2/5 Bore (mild to heavy pitting throughout). 4/5 Stock.
Chrysanthemum is present, with small circles stamped on top.
Heavy pressure marks throughout the right side of the butt. Light gouge on the edge of the pistol grip. Scattered light gouges along the side of the stock and on the forearm. On the left side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and heavy gouges throughout the butt. Heavy gouging before the finger groove. Heavy gouge at the woodline, extending onto the handguard, behind the rear barrel band. Pressure marks and scrapes along the forearm. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges along the butt. Mild gouging around the rear of the trigger guard. Heavy gouging in front of the trigger guard. Light gouges on the comb. Various mild pressure marks on the handguard.
Dust cover is present. Receiver has light edge wear and lightly worn finish throughout. Both barrel bands have mild to heavy patina. Heavy patina throughout the trigger guard and the floor plate.
Includes leather sling.
