Winchester 1910 Self Loading rifle in very good condition with 92% original finish. 4/5 Bore. 5/5 Stock. Three digit serial number; early production.
Bore does have some light pitting seen throughout the bore. Overall bluing is very dark and consistent with only light edge wear seen on the receiver. Furniture is in excellent shape with light handling wear. Manufacturer engravings are very sharp, likely due to tooling being very new. Left side of the barrel is roll stamped with "NICKEL STEEL BARREL" "ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWDER" at the rear underneath the rear sight, manufacturing location and patent information at the front of the barrel, and ".401 CAL" to the right of that.
Receiver tang has Winchester trademark and model designation engraved. Both the receiver and barrel have various proofs from Liege, Belgium, including a nitro proof (Lion over PV), black powder proof (ELG inside circle under crown), smokeless powder proof (crown above R), firearms inspector's mark from "Perron" (candlestick), and a controller's approval mark (star over A). Includes a rifle sling. Discrete import engraving.
