Antique Winchester model 1890 slide-action rimfire rifle, produced in 1897, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. So-called "Second Model" with blued receiver.
The original barrel had been replaced with a Winchester model 1906 20" barrel. The barrel is stamped with "Mod 06-.22S-L-LR". As the barrel is not an original model 1890 barrel, the magazine tube is not a 100% fit to the dovetails on the barrel.
Stock has a small crack behind the tang on the underside of the grip. Otherwise, minor to light handling wear on the furniture.
Bluing has some scattered light blemishes but is otherwise solid.
