Very Good condition Swiss K31 with 85% of its original finish. 5/5 Bore, 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard has matching serial numbers. Magazine matching serial number. Bolt matching serial number. There is a large gouge on the left hand finger groove and wear along the side of the receiver. Rough handling makes exist on various surfaces of the wood. There is tiger striping under the worn wood finish. Receiver is P stamped. Includes a non-matching M1918 bayonet which was supplied by the K31's original owner, as well as a muzzle cover and leather sling.
The Karabiner Model 1931 (K31) is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11) that was the standard issue rifle of the Swiss Armed Forces from 1933 through 1958. The K31 was made by Eidgenossische Waffenfabrik Bern, a Swiss federal armory, and is one of the last carbines employed by the Swiss military that is based on the designs by Schmidt and Rubin.
