Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1952, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 5/5 Stock. Stock and handguard both non-matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine was an unserialized magazine that has had matching serial number electropenciled on the bottom. Long, dark wood grain pattern around the grip of the stock on the left side. Furniture has a high gloss finish and only light pressure marks in some areas. On the right side of the stock, there is a small cluster of light pressure marks near the middle of the comb. On the underside of the stock, there are two parallel marks at the toe. The handguard has a few small pressure marks forward of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has dark bluing, with light edge wear around the loading slot and a few small patches of light finish wear on the right side. Rear barrel band has dark bluing with light finish wear on the underside at the mounting screw. Front barrel band has dark bluing, with finish wear on the left side at the hinge, on the right side at the mounting screw, and light edge wear on the bayonet lug. Trigger plate has dark bluing. Trigger guard has dark bluing with light edge wear. Magazine has dark bluing with faint to light edge wear on the left and right sides. P stamped receiver. Includes leather sling.

The Karabiner Model 1931 (K31) is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11) that was the standard issue rifle of the Swiss Armed Forces from 1933 through 1958. The K31 was made by Eidgenossische Waffenfabrik Bern, a Swiss federal armory, and is one of the last carbines employed by the Swiss military that is based on the designs by Schmidt and Rubin.
