Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1951, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture has been previously sanded and refinished. There is also an armory repair performed on the right side of the stock, in front of the finger groove. On the right side of the stock there are a few scattered mild pressure marks around the butt and some small surface marks on the pistol grip. There are four gouges found below the bolt handle. On the forearm there is a small gouge roughly halfway between the two barrel bands, near the woodline. On the left side of the stock there are a pair of scratched above the grip at the comb. There are pressure marks and light to mild gouges around the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are several small, light gouges along the toe. There is light gouging on the woodline on the right side of the magazine plate, near the magazine catch. There is a fair gouge forward of the magazine plate. The handguard has a light mark on the top side just before the front barrel band.
The left side of the stock has a sticker in front of the rear sling mount that reads:

Receiver has mild to fair finish wear throughout. Mild edge wear around the loading slot and along the right side of the receiver. Light finish wear on the right side of the receiver. Rear barrel band has heavy finish wear on the right side. Front barrel band has light finish wear and may be refinished. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild edge wear and light finish wear on the trigger guard. Mild edge wear and light finish wear on the magazine.
Receiver is P stamped.
Diopter sights are installed. The rear sight is an original W+F BERN diopter with six selectable apertures installed on a W+F BERN K-type mount. Front sight is a W+F BERN K-type tunnel sight.
