Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1941, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, light pitting in the bore). 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture has been sanded and refinished. A very glossy clear coat has been applied. On the right side of the stock, there is some gouging at the woodline below the rear sight. On the left side of the stock there is a small gouge below the right side of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock, it appears the previous owner attempted to carve a cross in front of the magazine plate. There are some pressure marks found along the comb.
Receiver has mild to fair finish wear throughout, with heavier finish wear on the left side. Rear barrel band has moderate to heavy finish wear and mild patina. Light to mild finish wear on the front barrel band. Light edge wear on the trigger guard. Mild to fair finish wear on the magazine base.
Diopter sights are installed. Rear sight is a Centra adjustable aperture sight on a W+F BERN K-type mount. Front sight is a W+F BERN K-type tunnel sight.
No P stamp found on receiver.
Includes leather sling.
