This Swiss K31 is in very good condition with 97% original finish. 3/5 Bore, 2/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Non-matching magazine serial number (sn 563942). Bluing is very dark, with light wear on the receiver and light edge wear on the trigger guard. Handguard has three shooting competition stickers from 2009 and 2010. Stock has a competition sticker on the right side for the shooting competition "Schweizerischer Junioren- und Veteranen Finzelfinal". Stock finish is worn and has had an an additional clear coat applied by the previous owner. Heavy handling marks found on the right side of the stock and the toe, and wear on the left side at the pistol grip and comb of the stock. Medium handling marks found throughout the furniture. Includes muzzle cover and sling. Discreet import engraving.

The Karabiner Model 1931 (K31) is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11) that was the standard issue rifle of the Swiss Armed Forces from 1933 through 1958. The K31 was made by Eidgenossische Waffenfabrik Bern, a Swiss federal armory, and is one of the last carbines employed by the Swiss military that is based on the designs by Schmidt and Rubin.
