Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1944, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Stock has heavy finish wear around the butt.
On the right side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks and mild gouges, as well as a long scrape at the butt. On the grip there are a couple of heavy pressure marks and gouging. Multiple light to mild pressure marks around the finger groove. Long, heavy gouge below and to the right of the handguard ferrule. On the left side of the stock, there is heavy handling wear throughout the butt. There are a few small gouges above the rear sling mount and heavy pressure marks to the left of the rear sling mount. Small, light gouge on the pistol grip. Several long mild pressure marks in front of the grip running parallel to the receiver and some heavy pressure marks at the top of the grip, near the receiver. Light gouges and scrapes below the finger groove. Heavy pressure marks along the toe. Heavy gouging at the comb of the stock around the heel, biased toward the left side. Multiple pressure marks along the right side of the receiver tang. Light pressure marks throughout the handguard. Light scratches in the finish along the top side in between the ferrule and the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn at the rear, increasing in severity to mild finish wear over the chamber. Small area of mild to fair finish wear at the rear of the receiver on the left side. Rear barrel band has light to mild finish wear and light patina. Light finish wear on the front barrel band and light edge wear on the bayonet lug. Heavy edge wear and fair finish wear on the front sight base. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Light to mild edge wear on the trigger guard. Light edge wear around the base of the magazine.
Receiver is P stamped.
Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
