Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1943, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture exhibits heavy handling wear overall with many pressure marks throughout. Finish is worn around the butt. On the right side of the stock, the butt is covered with pressure marks from the end of the butt to the grip. There is a small gouge to the right of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are pressure marks throughout the butt. Finish is worn from the butt to the rear sling mount. There are a pair of superficial gouges on the forearm about halfway between the two barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are multiple moderate to heavy pressure marks and a few gouges from the butt to the pistol grip and a gouge on the bottom of the pistol grip. Scratches found on the right side of the magazine plate next to the rear screw. The handguard has multiple moderate to heavy pressure marks along the woodline on the right side, in between the two barrel bands.
Receiver has heavy finish wear on the left side, moderate finish wear on the top side. Edge wear along the loading slot and on the right side. Light finish wear on both barrel bands. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild edge wear on the trigger guard. Heavy edge wear around the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
