Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1943, in very good condition with 80% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt with matching electropenciled serial number (common with 1943 production). Magazine matching serial number.
Light finish wear around the butt of the stock. Furniture has pressure marks found throughout. On the right side of the stock there is a small gouge below the comb. Moderate heavy pressure mark below the finger groove. Pair of long scratches on the forearm near the handguard ferrule. Heavy gouge near the front barrel band. Small chip at the woodline directly in front of the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a small but deep gouge near the front of the magazine plate. The handguard has a heavy gouge and a light gouge on the top side near the receiver ferrule, a small gouge and some scratches on the right side in front of the rear barrel band, and a gouge and chipping above the gouge on the stock near the front barrel band.
Receiver has moderate to heavy finish wear, particularly at the chamber. Fair finish wear on the right side. Scattered spots from light pitting on the top side of the receiver. Light finish wear on both barrel bands. Fair finish wear on the exposed area of the barrel. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild edge wear on the trigger guard. Magazine base has light finish wear and a long scratch in the finish on the base.
Receiver is P stamped.
