Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1942, in very good condition with 80% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Stock has a faint tiger stripe pattern on the left side at the forearm, which continues to the underside.
Stock has mostly light handling wear throughout. On the right side of the stock there are scuffs along the bottom edge before the pistol grip. Mild to fair pressure marks on the bottom left and right edges of the finger groove, and a long, light pressure marks coming off the right edge of the finger groove. Long, mild pressure mark before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there is moderate finish wear around the rear sling mount. Multiple light to mild pressure marks from the grip to the right side of the finger groove. Along this area, there are a pair of light gouges at the upper edge of the grip and a few dark marks. On the underside of the stock there are several small nicks at the toe and a few gouges on the pistol grip. To the right of the magazine plate there are several light and mild gouges. There is a mild scrape at the heel. The handguard has some scattered mild pressure marks and some gouging on the top side in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mild to fair finish wear on the rear 3/4 of the upper side, and moderate to heavy finish wear over the chamber and the right side. Heavy finish wear on the right side of the receiver along the forward 1/3, with part of the area in the white. Light finish wear on the rear barrel band. Rear barrel band spring is in the white. Front barrel band is likely refinished and has very little finish wear. Mild finish wear and edge wear around the front sight base. Mild finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild finish wear and light patina on the trigger guard. Mild finish wear on the magazine.
Receiver is P stamped.
