Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1942, in very good condition with 90% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Handling wear and finish wear around the butt of the stock. On the right side of the stock there is a gouge above the toe and several scrapes above the pistol grip. There is very heavy gouging above the magazine, below the bolt release lever. To the right of the finger groove there are several scrapes, light gouging, and pressure marks. On the forearm near the front barrel band are some mild pressure marks and a light gouge. On the left side of the stock there is a long gouge running from the right edge of the rear sling mount to the end of the butt. There are a couple mild gouges to the right of the grip and pressure marks on and around the grip. Several light gouges on the forearm in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are multiple gouges from the toe to the pistol grip. Moderate pressure mark in front of the magazine plate. The handguard has multiple small, light gouges scattered throughout.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light to mild edge wear around the loading slot. Slightly heavier finish wear on the left side of the receiver toward the rear. Light finish wear on both barrel bands. Magazine plate has light to mild finish wear. Light finish wear on the trigger guard and magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
