Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1936, in very good condition with 80% original finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Stock has a well defined tiger stripe pattern. Light pressure marks throughout the furniture. On the right side of the stock, there is scuffing on the pistol grip, and several heavy pressure marks and gouges to the left of the finger groove and around the edge of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is a long pressure mark at the rear sling mount. Fair handling wear at the area to the right of the finger groove, below the receiver, with some light gouges present. Mild pressure marks on the forearm in between the two barrel bands.
Receiver has generally light finish wear throughout, with slightly heavier finish wear along the left side. Light edge wear around the loading slot. Various light scratches at the rear on the top and left sides. Rear barrel band has spots of light finish wear as well as several surface marks along the edge. Light finish wear on the front barrel band. Light to mild finish wear and mild patina on the exposed barrel. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild to fair finish wear on the trigger guard and the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes aluminum muzzle cover and leather sling.
