Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1935, in very good condition with 75% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture had been previously sanded and refinished. Tiger stripe pattern throughout the stock.
On the right side of the stock, there are various light to mild pressure marks throughout. Pressure marks on the bottom edge of the finger groove and handling wear along the woodline, above the right side of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are a couple of light gouges at the butt below the rear sling mount. The right edge of the finger groove had been heavily sanded. On the underside of the stock, there are light to mild pressure marks at the toe, light gouging on the pistol grip, and mild to fair pressure marks on the grip. Moderate to heavy gouging on the right side of the magazine plate, near the forward mounting screw. Between the end of the magazine plate and the rear barrel band there are some mild pressure marks and a couple of light gouges. Mild pressure marks near the front barrel band. There are a few mild to fair gouges along the comb of the stock. Mild pressure marks throughout the handguard. There is a larger, moderate pressure mark on the left side of the handguard before the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is heavily worn and has various scratches throughout the finish. Both barrel bands have mildly worn finish. Moderate to heavy finish wear on the exposed barrel and heavy edge wear around the front sight base. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Mild edge wear and mild finish wear on the trigger guard. Mild finish wear, edge wear, and light patina on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped.
Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
Includes aluminum muzzle cover and leather sling.
