Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1927, in good condition with 70% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number
Stock has been lightly sanded, removing the vast majority of pressure marks that may have existed. There is faint striping throughout from sanding. On the right side of the stock, the Swiss military acceptance stamp is still visible. There is a gouge near the butt, toward the toe. On the left side of the stock, there is a gouge at the woodline below the receiver and a second gouge below and to the left. Small gouge to the right of the finger groove. There are two light pressure marks on the comb, near the receiver tang. Handguard is a very bright blonde compared to the stock but as noted it does have a matching serial number.
The left side of the receiver exhibits heavy finish wear, with the rear area in the white. Mild finish wear on the right side of the receiver. Light finish wear on the top of the rear barrel band and on the bottom around the mounting screw. Front barrel band has light to mild finish wear on the top, on the left side at the hinge, and on the right side at the mounting screw. Mild edge wear and finish wear on the bayonet lug and mild finish wear on the underside of the stacking arm. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Trigger guard has heavy edge wear, moderate to heavy finish wear. and is approaching white. Magazine base is nearly in the white.
Receiver is P stamped..

The Karabiner Model 1911 (K11) is the shorter, lighter, carbine model of the Swiss 1911 rifle. It is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11). Though the 1911 rifle ceased production in 1919, the K11 was produced through 1933 as the Swiss military realized the benefit of outfitting their service members with shorter, lighter, carbines.
