Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1927, in very good condition with 80% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 5/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture has various light pressure marks scattered throughout. On the right side of the stock, the Swiss military acceptance stamp is sharp and well defined. Below the bolt release lever is a mild pressure mark with a hatched pattern. On the left side of the stock, there are a couple of dark colored spots on the grip. Light finish wear from handling around the finger groove and on the area to the right of the finger groove. Mild pressure mark on the forearm in front of the rear barrel band and a couple of light to mild pressure marks before the front barrel band. Handguard has a mark on the top side before the rear barrel band.
Receiver has fair to moderate finish wear throughout, along with multiple surface marks and dark spots from rust that had been previously cleaned. Heavier finish wear around the rear edge of the receiver and on the right side. Light edge wear around the loading slot and light to mild edge wear around the lightening cuts. Rear barrel band has light finish wear and surface frost. Front barrel band has light finish wear and surface marks on the top side. Mild to fair finish wear on the magazine plate. Trigger guard has light edge wear and mild finish wear. Magazine has fair finish wear on the underside.
Receiver is P stamped.

The Karabiner Model 1911 (K11) is the shorter, lighter, carbine model of the Swiss 1911 rifle. It is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11). Though the 1911 rifle ceased production in 1919, the K11 was produced through 1933 as the Swiss military realized the benefit of outfitting their service members with shorter, lighter, carbines.
